floating | gravity
Monday, July 2

Where do we go from here?

Too many doors are still left wide open, and decisions are harder to make when we're spoilt for choice. It doesn't help that I have no personal preference in this particular case.

I'm just floating --- suspended in empty space, feeling no pull towards any direction or another. I lie in wait for passion to stir in my heart, or for any remote sign that could point me in a direction. Yet, I receive none, and remain unsure. For now, I continue to do all I can to speed up the process --- not because that is where I want to go, but because the outcome would either shut that door or pull me towards it --- and I search desperately for any indication of His direction; even more so for any that can come sooner.

It is rare that my heart lacks passion or drive for any single path before me. In fact, I don't think this has ever happened before. I'm clueless and, as a result, confused. But I continue to cling on to faith, hope and love, and continue to trust in His sovereignty. It is, in any case, a far better alternative than clinging on to fear, despair and angst. Indeed, we shall see how things play out, and I'll be able to look back upon this moment and smile.

~

A man in space may not feel the pull of gravity --- but the force of gravity is still there, pulling him somewhere. Somewhere; slowly, but surely.

I know Your gravity's at work, God. It's all in Your hands. I'm in Your hands.

AMEN;
